The cold storage for ‘Silence’ Kannada cinema of director Venugopal is ending. Director of ‘Jai Hind’ Venugopal has started this film shoot in 2007 and the film is seeing the light of the day in 2012. Several producers’ changes and Munraju after watching the rough copy decided to take up the film.

‘Silence’ first half happening in a booth Bungalow the incidents of Dhandupalya gang. The characters of Psycho Krishna and Lakshmi are retained in this film. Two incidents are only picked for the development of the story.

Krishnamurthy brother of Sudhir of yesteryears is one of the producers and he has mentioned about the ‘A’ certificate given to the film ‘Silence’. Appayya friend of hero Kumar after looking at the film evinced interest in becoming a partner. Six songs for the film are scored by Vijayabharathi.

Kumar heading the star cast is confident of good success of the film even though it is late. In two fights and six songs I am part with other talkie portions he says.

Surekha Pallavi hailing from Bidar settled in Mumbai working in events, print ads and fashion shows is one of the heroines. She plays the role of Lakshmi of Dhandupalya gang. The same role is played by Pooja Gandhi in Srinivasaraju film ‘Dhandupalya’.
